White cloth spine with papered boards, top edge gilt, indexes. From the preface: "The idea of this monograph is to give, by means of bibliography, the history of English printed Almanacks and Prognostications, from their commencement to the time when they had become recognized as necessary annual books of reference." In addition to the actual bibliographical listings it includes a lengthy historical Introduction. Ex-library copy with a few markings - call numbers to spine, bookplate on front pastedown, inkstamps and numbers on title page. Overall a solid but somewhat grubby and well worn copy with clean and unmarked internals. Thus a tight, internally clean just Good copy. Item #61235
