Black and white frontispiece portrait and fold out b&w facsimile of letter from Steiner. Text in FRENCH. The scarce first french-language edition of this fragile production. It was apparently in-press when Steiner died. Spine darkened, lightly creased and a little chipped at ends, wrappers rubbed and a bit darkened, chafed at edges, upper wrapper barely holding, page edges and first and last leaves browned, some light chips and tiny tears to page edges, no marks. Overall a clean near-VG copy of a scarce printing. Item #61331
