AMOOKOS was established under the auspices of Shri Gurudev Mahendranath (1911-1992) guru of the northern Indian Uttarakaula Tantric Order, and fused traditional eastern Tantric with Western magical techniques. The Order gave training to a number of now well-known figures, before succumbing to the seemingly inevitable divisions that plague such groups.
