The first UK edition of this volume from the "Paths to Inner Power" series published jointly by Aquarian Press and Samuel Weiser Publishing in the 1970s. This volume is a practical guide the reading of the aura by Walter Ernest Butler (1898-1978) who studied with Dion Fortune and was active in her Fraternity of the Inner Light for nearly twenty years. In later life he became acquainted with Gareth Knight and eventually went on to found his own group, the Servants of the Light, of which he remained the main teacher until not long before his death, at which time the mantle was passed to Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki. Light bumps to spine ends, corners and edges, page edges a bit darkened and pages lightly toned - still a tight, bright and unmarked VG+ copy in VG dust jacket (Dust jacket a bit rubbed overall, edges chafed, price clipped).
