An examination of automatic speaking and writing by Bennett who was the Assistant-Secretary to the Society of Psychical Research from its inception in 1882 until 1902. From the collection of Dr. M. H. Coleman, with his ex-libris seal blind-stamped on the front free endpaper. Cloth rubbed and a bit darkened, spine ends chafed with a small dark mark to upper spine, corners bumped and rubbed, endpapers and page edges browned, pages toned with a bit of scattered foxing and browning, bookshop stickers to pastedowns, ink stamp to rear pastedown. Overall a tight, unmarked VG copy (no dust jacket.). Item #61402
