Small octavo. 76pp. Original pale blue wrappers, lettered in black and red and bordered in red, illustrated in black and white. Recently reinforced at spine with black binder's tape. This copy with a lengthy INSCRIPTION by the author to a previous owner commencing on the inside front cover and ending on the title page where it is SIGNED by Wood. Wood has also added significant explanatory annotations regarding the text to a number of pages throughout. An illustrated collection of articles by Dr. Frederic H. Wood on the mediumship of "Rosemary," a girl of his acquaintance who was said to have channeled messages from an ancient Egyptian princess who communicated in the language of ancient Egypt. In the first book, "Ancient Egypt Speaks" Wood and his colleague A. J. Howard Hulme told the story of Rosemary, and outlined what they said was the pronunciation of ancient Eygptian. Covers a bit faded at edges with some browning to rear wrapper, light creases and bumping to corners, a few spots of browning to edges, - still a tight, clean VG inscribed and signed copy.
