Being and Attempt to Prove that they are Entities Separate from Each Other and from the Automatist" 30pp. Original wrappers lettered in black, reprinted from "Psychic Science", October 1936. A discussion of the authenticity of the "controls" of Geraldine Cummins (1890-1969) a medium and spiritualist author best known for her series purported to be channelled from the spirit of Cleophas, one of St. Paul's followers. The second publication- " 'Controls' as Separate Entities", 12pp stapled booklet, illustrated in b&w first published thus as a separate addendum (undated but with the penned date 1936) and subsequently published in "Psychic Science" in 1937. Both from the collection of Dr. M. H. Coleman, with his ex-libris seal blind-stamped on front free endpaper. Wrappers a bit browned and rubbed at edges, else both are bright and clean.
