Item #61754 Leah Sublime. Aleister CROWLEY.

Leah Sublime.

London: Panic Press, 1983. Limited Edition. Softcover. Octavo. 24pp. Stapled booklet. White wrappers printed in black. An edition limited to 222 hand-numbered copies, this being number 79. A reprint of Crowley's spectacularly filthy poem dedicated to Leah Hirsig. Crowley wrote of it in his diary for June 28, 1920: "Against all principles, and in breach of two promises, I have sat up all night in the snows, writing a poem to Leah. One long poem - an occasional publishable line thrown in when I weakened. 7.00 am: I think I'll collect all my filth in one poem and mark it Leah in plain figures. 10.00 am: I think I did." This reprint published under the imprint "Ordo Templi Occidentis" in Wales, includes a short introduction by a "Frater Schyren." Some rubbing and a few very light marks to covers, - overall a tight, clean VG+ copy. Item #61754
