The first English language edition of this work first published in 1920 in French as "Les Mysteres de L'Hypnose". The author attributes much of what spiritualism believes to be communication with the dead to the natural psychic facilities of certain exceptional individuals. From the collection of Dr. M. H. Coleman, with his ex libris blind seal through front blank. Cloth a little spot faded and discoloured, spine faded, spine ends and corners bruised and lightly chafed, page edges foxed, endpapers unevenly browned, pages toned but clean.
