Edition limited to 1000 numbered copies. A first Trident Press edition of the Grimoire of Pope Honorius, a rare grimoire of the Middle Ages attributed to Pope Honorius III; the famous papal sorcerer of the Middle Ages. This edition includes the sigils and illustrations known to be associated with this work, as well as spells, summonings, etc., some of which were not available prior to this translation. Text translated by Ms. Kineta Ch'ien from the Old German and with a bibliographic prolegomenon by Mr. John Davis. Appended to the work is a translation of the 15th century Ecclesiatic work, "Coniurationes Demonum", translated from the Latin by Matthew Sullivan. Page edges very slightly browned else a tight, bright Fine copy in VG dust jacket. (Dust jacket is a bit rubbed overall with some faint marks from handling, edges lightly chafed and creased, inner flaps lightly creased, not clipped). Item #62207
