The first American edition of this important compendium, drawn from original 1899 Golden Dawn manuscript rituals, and thus quite different to those of the Stella Matutina published by Israel Regardie. Spine ends bruised and lightly rubbed, small snag at lower edge of rear board, page edges darkened, top edge a bit discoloured and foxed, bookplate on front pastedown, else a tight, clean VG+ copy in VG dust jacket (Dust jacket a little rubbed & creased at all edges, several short closed tears at upper edges, spine ends lightly creased, not clipped).
