A reprint of this collection of alchemical 'processes' (experiments), apparently edited and arranged by A. E. Waite for the alchemical enthusiast Hon. Stafford-Jerningham (later Lord Stafford). Gilbert notes that the original 1894 edition was privately published for Stafford, and though the print-run is unknown, it was evidently tiny, as even the esteemed bibliographer had not seen a copy in its original binding. Page edges darkened and lightly foxed, top edge dusty, some light spot fading to cloth and a light vertical dye fault in cloth on front board (as common), faint shadow from old (price?) sticker front pastedown - Else a tight, bright & unmarked VG+.
