Item #62582 Objects and Aims of the Society. Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia S R. I. A., Anonymous, Col. Frank Martin Rickard ?

Objects and Aims of the Society.

London: Privately Published, ND [ 1948 ]. First Edition Thus. Softcover. Octavo booklet. 6pp. Original stapled beige printed wrappers. As the title suggests, an essay on the objects and aims of the Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia (S.R.I.A.). Although anonymous, S.R.I.A. sources attribute it to Col. Frank Martin Rickard, who succeeded William John Songhurst as the Supreme Magus of the S.R.I.A. Curiously the text is quite different, and considerably shorter, than the essay of the same title published by Rickard in 1933. With the stamp of Quatuor Coronati Lodge (the well-known London Masonic Lodge devoted to Masonic research) on the upper wrapper (no other markings). A near fine copy of an unusual publication.
