The Book of Truth or The Voice of Osiris. Inspirationally dictated through El Eros.

London: The Knights Templars of Aquarius, 1956. Third Edition. Hardcover. Large Octavo. xvi + 206pp. Purple cloth with gilt title, etc. to spine and upper board, b&w frontis, illustrations, index. Comprises a series of "inspired" texts and automatic drawings, said to have been received by H. C. Randall-Stevens (who wrote under the name "El -Eros") over forty-one days in 1925 from the Egyptian deity Osiris. The book gives an outline of the creation, the gods, their plans for humanity, etc. and goes on to tell of the development of life on earth, through the destruction of Atlantis and Lemuria and on to the development of Eygptian culture. A handsomely produced volume by a group apparently devoted to the dissemination of the "Osirian Scripts" and includes 46 full page plates, bound in. This, the third edition, restores some wording that was altered by the publishers of earlier editions, and reproduces the drawings in Part II for the first time in their original size. Cloth lightly rubbed, corners and spine ends lightly bumped dusty. Owner's name and small drawing of an eye on front paste-down, otherwise a bright, tight, internally clean VG+ copy (lacks dust jacket). Item #62586
