Liber Lucis. A New Exposition of the Law of Thelema Prepared According to the Instructions of Master Therion, 666, and by his Son Here Proclaimed Master Amado 777. Issue 1 - 6 inclusive.

England: (Privately Printed: the author), ND (ca. 1972-1974). First Edition. Softcover. Six volumes. Quarto. Variously (and eccentrically) paginated, but approximately 260pp. in total. Stapled into colur printed paper wrappers. The text comprises stencil-duplicated sheets reproduced from a typescript. Various colour inserts, illustrations etc. throughout. The first six issues (only) of "Liber Lucis": there was also a seventh issue issued in two separate parts as "Tic-Boc" and "Hydels-Caeg" which is not included with this group. SIGNED by Amado on one section title ("Mandamus" in Part Four). An note by Amado in another set suggested that only 150 sets were issued, and that due to the deterioration of the stencils they were destroyed. The first and only edition of the "Series of Occasional Papers" by Amado comprising various magical instructions and rituals, including pieces on sex magick, rune casting, personal rituals, séances, astral projection, etc. etc. Much amusing editorial content and several letters by Crowley (probably extracted from "Magick Without Tears.") Amado [Andrew Standish, 1930-2010], claimed to have been the illegitimate son of Aleister Crowley, and to have received occult training from the Beast, although these claims are universally dismissed by Crowley scholars. Regardless of the veracity of his claims he was an interesting character and committed occultist. From the collection of English bibliophile and Aleister Crowley scholar Nicholas Bishop-Culpeper with his book-label tipped in at the rear of the first issue. Very crude 1970s "fanzine" type production values. Typical light wear for a fragile publication of this vintage, but overall VG+ condition. Item #62608
