A hardcover reprint of this work by Irishman, George William Russell (1867 – 1935) who wrote under the pseudonym Æ (sometimes written AE or A.E.) was a friend of William Butler Yeats, a mystical writer, poet, and painter, as well as being the centre of a group of followers of theosophy in Dublin for many years. The Candle of Vision sets forth in prose Russells' mystical excursions into the other world. This edition includes a new introduction by Leslie Shepard. Light chafing to corners and spine ends, page edges darkened, pages toned. Overall a tight, clean VG+ copy in near VG dust jacket.
