A charming booklet put together by conjurer Will Goldston, with essays by various authors on: Crystal Gazing, Astrology, Palmistry, Planchette and Spiritualism. Goldston was one of few conjurers to accept the claims of Spiritualism, although he believed that many professional mediums were frauds, and warns in the Preface about the danger of attending "Dark Seances." From the collection of Dr. M. H. Coleman, although not marked as such. Covers a bit rubbed, creased and darkened, edges chafed, a bit of chipping at spine, pages browned but otherwise a tight and unmarked VG copy. Scarce. Item #62659
