We note here that one order form from the adverts section for "A message from The Crystal" (page 335/6) has been neatly clipped out - the instructions for order are: "Write the Lord's Prayer on a sheet of paper. Seal it without allowing anyone to touch it. Then put the sealed envelope, and one dollar for a years subscription [outside the sealed envelope] - into another envelope, with the coupon below.", thus the present reader will be left curious as to what the response from 'The Crystal" might have been - or to consider that it may have been a ruse from the publisher to get new subscriptions! Cloth is lightly rubbed overall and a bit darkened at spine and extreme edges of boards, light ripple to cloth of rear board, corners and spine ends lightly bumped and chafed, page edges darkened and lightly thumbed, pages toned, a few penned notes on front blank endpaper and a few scattered checkmarks & underlines and annotations in text. Despite signs of use - still a tight, mostly clean VG copy (no dust jacket). Uncommon. Item #62821
