The author, a geographer and writer - feels that his "scientific" background gives him a unique vantage-point from which to relay his experiences in spiritualism, which include a number of first person and sympathetic accounts of seances, readings, etc.. From the collection of Dr. M. H. Coleman with his ex-libris blind stamp on half title page. Covers a bit rubbed at all edges, spine darkened with some light creasing, spine ends and corners lightly bruised and chafed, abrasions to inner flaps of dust cover (from removal of tape) with some offset from the tape (no longer present) to final leaf, text unmarked, front inner flap of jacket is clipped.
