The second printing of this study of the history, arts, religion (including a ten page sub-chapter on voodoo), and geography of Haiti. Obviously intended for the serious minded traveller, it has interesting descriptions of Haiti as it was in 1955. Well-illustrated, it also includes a glossary of Creole language and maps. Light rubbing to spine ends and corners, page edges darkened, else a tight, bright VG+ copy in VG dust jacket (Dust jacket is a bit chafed at edges, corners and spine ends, short closed tear upper rear edge, not clipped, now protected by removeable mylar sleeve).
