The first edition of this revised text of a portion of Hall's earlier "Keys to Bible Interpretion", which book he enlarged so much from it's original text - that it necessitated reprinting the book in a three volume series, this being the first in the series, devoted to the Old Testament (the second volume dealt with the New Testament, and the third with the first six centuries of Christianity). Manly Palmer Hall (1901 - 1990), was a Canadian-born occultist, mystic and author who is still best known for his "The Secret Teaching of All Ages." Hall gathered together a world renowned collection of books and manuscripts on alchemy, mysticism, the occult, etc. which became part of the library of an organisation the Philosophical Research Society which he founded in 1934. Hall himself wrote over a hundred books and pamphlets on the esoteric subjects. Cloth a bit darkened and grubby, corners and spine ends lightly bumped, light rubbing to edges, page edges darkened, small tear to inner margin of frontispiece leaf, pages browned but unmarked. Overall a tight, unmarked about VG copy (no dust jacket). Item #63100
