Rosicrucian Symbology; A Treatise wherein the Discerning Ones will find the Elements of Constructive Symbology and Certain Other Things. A Book to Amuse the Frivolous, pique the Curious, confound the Materialist, shock the Orthodox, and give Wisdom to the Understanding.

NP: Arohn Publishing, ND (Circa 1970s). Facsimile reprint. Softcover. Square octavo. 68pp. Beige wrappers lettered and illustrated in gold on upper cover, b&w illustrations. A facsimile reprint circa the 1970s of this important work on Rosicrucian symbolism. This edition was clearly intended for mailing to students as it has a postal "bulk rate" permit imprint on the rear cover, thus allowing for it to be mailed as is with just an added address label. According to the Preface the text was originally prepared as a course of preliminary instruction for Rosicrucian novices, that has been grouped together to make them available to a wider audience. It is intended "to give the student an accurate understanding of the rudiments of geometrical symbology and a knowledge of those essential principles of constructing symbolical figures, which, used and applied intelligently, may furnish the means wherewith to read and interpret some of the ancient wisdome of our fathers .... " KHEI - that is Frater KHEI, X - was the "magical" name and literary pseudonym of George Winslow Plummer (1876-1944), co-founder and Supreme Magus of the Societas Rosicruciana In America. Light rubbing and darkening to covers, edges a bit creased and discoloured, upper corner bumped and creased, page edges darkened - else a tight, unmarked VG copy. Scarce. Item #63116
