This is the First edition of a text that was later republished in smaller format as Vol. IX of the Collectanea Hermetica series. Much rarer than the later editions. Previous owner's name and year of acquisition (1892) on front free endpaper. From the library of the Brooklyn Theosophical Society with their bookplate on front pastedown, and their ink stamp to lower title page and two text pages. Cloth rubbed and unevenly darkened, slight ripple and discolored patch (probably from removal of a label) to front board, light ripple to cloth of rear board, corners and spine ends bruised and chafed, spine darkened and has a small discolored patch from removal of call numbers, pages toned. Overall a clean near VG copy. Item #63175
