Edward John Langford Garstin was a prominent member of the Alpha and Omega (A.'.O.'.), the offshoot of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, comprising the members who stayed loyal to Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers after the split of 1903. This volume, which follows on from his "Theurgy or The Hermetic Practice. A Treatise on Spiritual Alchemy", is a more focused look at "fire" in alchemical work. Cloth lightly rubbed, spine ends & corners lightly bruised. Page edges darkened and a bit foxed, pages toned but bright and unmarked. Overall a tight, clean VG + copy (No dust jacket). Item #63275
