Berkeley CA / Tempe AZ: And Or Press / New Falcon Publications, 1977, 1996, 1995. Mixed. Softcovers. Octavo. Three volumes (complete series). Volume I: xvi + 270pp (1977, First).; Volume II: 282pp + adverts (1996, Second revised); Volume III: 247pp + adverts (1995, First). Illustrated covers, some b&w illustrations, index (Vol I). The complete Cosmic Trigger trilogy. Volume II and III are inscribed by the author to Ralph Metzner (1936 – 2019) the German-born American psychologist, best known for his research and writing on psychedelics, and his association with Timothy Leary and Richard Alpert in the early 1960s. Metzner's ex-libris bookplate on inside front cover of each volume. The Cosmic Trigger trilogy is part philosophical rant, part autobiography, and a whole lot else, Wilson discourses on everything from the occultism of Crowley and company, through Buddhism and Sufism, and on to quantumn mechanics and beyond. Covers of volume one a bit rubbed overall with some chafing and creasing, page edges darkened and lightly thumbed, pages toned. Volumes II and III have very light shelf wear, a few light bumps to extremities - but are otherwise VG+ condition. At the least, a tight, clean VG set. Item #63517
