He is best known for another related work, "The Signs and Symbols of Primordial Man" His works were influential in occult as well as Masonic circles, with Kenneth Grant drawing from them in several of his books. This edition has a new introduction by well-known scholar Dr. R. A. Gilbert. Covers lightly rubbed, a bit chafed at edges, page edges darkened and foxed, pages toned but clean and unmarked.
