A comprehensive guide to the practice of palmistry by the celebrity "palmist" Niblo, aka Marshall Clark who may have been best known for his scandalous extra-marital affair with New York heiress Antionette Elizabeth Gazzam. Cloth a little rubbed and darkened with a few light spots, spine ends and corners bumped & chafed, light chafing to edges. Page edges and margins browned, bookplate on front pastedown, short penciled gift inscription on front blank, pages toned but unmarked.
