777 Revised Vel Prolegomena Symbolica Ad Systemam Sceptico-Mysticae Viae Explicandae, Fundamentum Hieroglyphicum Sanctissimorum Scientiae Summae. A Reprint of 777 with Much Additional Matter by the Late Aleister Crowley.

London: The Neptune Press, 1955. First Edition Thus. Hardcover. xxviii + 156pp. Demy Octavo. White parchment spine with gilt-decorated buckram boards. Top-edge gilt (as are most copies). Tables & hexagrams. Edition limited to 1100 copies (There was also a vellum-bound edition of 12 copies and a full morocco edition of 7 copies). A revised edition of Crowley's Qabalistic masterwork, originally published in 1909, with much additional material. Crowley's former student and follower Gerald Yorke had worked on the revised edition of the book in the 1920s, but was unable to take it to press at the time. He finally published it in collaboration with Crowley's German-American student and occult heir Karl Germer in 1955. Very slight darkening to vellum spine (though much less than is common), a bit of light rubbing and bruising to edges and extremities, upper corners bumped, one tiny light spot to rear board, owner's name in pen on front blank, page edges a bit browned, pages lightly toned but still bright and unmarked. Overall a tight, clean VG+ copy of this attractive edition. Item #63869
