The first US edition, bound up from sheets of the [1914] first British edition with a cancel title-page with the US publisher's details. All edges a little rubbed, spine ends and corners lightly chafed and bruised, page edges a bit darkened, spine very slightly canted. Endpapers unevenly browned, bookplate on front pastedown, pages toned but unmarked, crack at rear endpaper gutter, but board still holding firm. Still overall an unmarked VG+ copy. (no dust jacket).
