A reprint of a work first printed by Oxford in 1955, this edition includes a new introduction by the author, a well known scholar who also wrote "The Dawn and Twilight of Zoroastrianism". Zurvan was the divinity of an important, albeit heterodox, form of Zoroastrianism that flourished from the third century BCE onwards. Boards lightly rubbed and a bit darkened - more so at spine, spine ends and corners lightly bumped and rubbed. Top page edge a bit darkened and foxed, ink stamp flower to front blank, pages lightly toned but unmarked. Overall a tight, and unmarked VG+ copy. (No dust - possibly none issued).
