William Francis Brinsley Le Poer Trench (1911 – 1995) was a prominent ufologist who edited Flying Saucer Review from 1956 - 1959, founded the International Unidentified Object Observer Corps and Contact International, and was also the vice-president of the British UFO Research Association (BUFORA). In this volume Trench looks at a number of the oldest stories of "creation" and considers the symbolic relics of those stories maintained in the form of modern beliefs, religious ideas and science, and how the might tie in with mankind's place in the broader cosmos. A little light shelfwear and dust, bumps to corners and spine ends. Still a tight, clean VG+ copy in Good dust jacket (Dust jacket a bit chafed at edges and darkened and rubbed overall, light chipping to edges, price clipped.
