From the publisher: "The first complete English translation of the most controversial work of the sixteenth century Italian philosopher, Giordano Bruno, who was tried by two Inquisitions and burned at the stake in Rome in 1600." Lower spine and corners lightly bruised and rubbed, very faint damp mark to extreme upper edge of rear board, faded patch to top edge of text block, which is also a bit darkened and dusty.
