Sadhu (Mieczyslaw Demetriusz Sudowski; 1897 - 1971) was an enigmatic Polish-born mystic and author, who wrote a number of books on various aspects of the Western Hermetic tradition before embracing the teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi and Vichara yoga. "Self-Realization" followed his three works "In Days of Great Peace", "Concentration" and "Samadhi," and is essentially a series of essays on various aspects of occultism and the spiritual experience. Very light rubbing to edges, light bruising to spine ends, pages lightly browned, Wehman Bros. Distribution ink stamp on title page, otherwise a tight, bright VG+ copy in VG dust jacket.
