The five page appendix "Containing Rules for the Spirit Circle" is attributed to "Mrs. Emma Hardinge" - that is Emma Hardinge Britten. From the collection of Dr. M. H. Coleman, though not marked as such. The booklet may have originally had wrappers: if so they are lacking (the only other copy we could locate does not have wrappers either). Some foxing to edges of title page, pages a bit browned, outer gatherings starting to separate at spine, else a tight, clean and complete Good + copy of a rare booklet. Item #64093
