An overview of the history, day-to-day lives, religious, magical and funerary practices of the ancient Egyptians by Sir E. A. Wallis Budge (1857 – 1934), for a time Keeper of the Egyptian and Assyrian Antiquities in the British Museum and one of the great scholars of ancient Egyptian custom and belief. Cloth lightly rubbed with a few light marks, light chafing to edges, a few very short tears to cloth at spine ends, endpapers browned, pencil notes on endpapers and in margins throughout text (easily erased).
