Original light blue cloth with darker blue titling and decorative borders to upper board, and titling to spine. A scarce first edition of this survey of Royal Arch Masonry. Includes the chapters: Early History and Origins, The Order since the Union, Supreme Grand Chapter, Other R.A. Organisations, Historical Remarks on the Temples, Ritual and Ceremonial. Light colored cloth is a bit darkened and discoloured, spine more heavily darkened, corners and spine ends lightly chafed, page edges darkened and lightly foxed, owner's name on front blank, pages browned with light - medium foxing throughout, text unmarked.
