The second printing of the 1974 Samuel Weiser Revised Edition of Albertus' "The Alchemist's Handbook," with foreword by Israel Regardie. The book is a practical guide to the alchemical arts by Frater Albertus Spagyricus (Dr. Richard Albert Riedel, 1911–1984); founder of the Paracelsus Research Society in Salt Lake City, and author of a number of well known books on the subject. A little light rubbing to cloth, top and fore-edge of pages darkened & foxed, bookplate on front pastedown, small flower inkstamped to front blank, else a lovely unmarked VG+ copy in VG dust jacket. (Dust jacket lightly rubbed overall, lightly chafed and creased at points, a bit of browning on the reverse side and inner flap edges, price clipped.
