Ouspensky ( 1878 - 1947 ) a well-known mathematician, author, and mystic - who became a student of G. I. Gurdjieff in 1915, and whose work he spent much of the rest of his life promoting. Bruising to spine ends, top edge darkened and dusty, paper a bit toned but clean and unmarked. Overall a tight, bright VG+ copy in VG dust jacket. (Light chafing to panels and extremities of dust jacket, not clipped. Now protected by removable mylar sleeve). Item #64250
