From the publisher: "This account of the remarkable witchcraft delusion and the witch trials in Salem is reprinted from the author's 'New France and New England'." The work appears to have first been published in the present form in 1904. It includes many reproductions from contemporary documents etc. Corners rubbed and lightly chafed, all edges lightly rubbed, boards slightly darkened with a few light spots, paper a little browned, owner's name penciled on front blank.
