From the publisher: "Ten chapters dealing with Pre-historic monuments and mythology, Celtic tradition, general legends, Witchcraft, festival customs, Patois proverbs, sayings, etc, etc....... Five appendices deal with the derivation and historical significance of Jersey place names, notes on boundary stones, frescoes, etc, etc. ".
