A rare early volume of this important periodical. It contains the usual material on Spiritualism and Psychical Research with interesting pieces on the foundation of the Australian Society for Pyschical Research, Stainton Moses, the Blavatsky Controversy, crystal gazing, hypnosis, etc, etc. Cloth is chafed & darkened overall, spine darkened and spine edges & ends bruised & chafed, endpapers chipped and brittle-with tape repair at inner hinge of front blank and rear blank detached, front endpaper has index card pocket attached (but no other evidence of library ownership). Pages toned, pencil notes on extreme bottom edge of last page, otherwise clean & unmarked. Overall a tight, internally clean G+ copy. Scarce. Item #64320
