The first edition of this groundbreaking work by Hereward Carrington, a psychical researcher, and Sylvan J. Muldoon (1903-1971), a young man who had experienced out of body states from childhood. Muldoon and Carrington collaborated in writing "The Projection of the Astral Body," which has remained a standard work on the subject ever since. The title page bears the publisher's ink stamp "With the Publisher's Compliments" . Cloth lightly rubbed, spine a bit faded, spine ends and corners lightly bruised and chafed, page edges foxed, paper lightly browned. Overall a tight, clean VG or better copy. Item #64379
