The Monolith. Official Journal of the Order of the Cubic Stone. Vol. 2, No. 5.

Wolverhampton, England: Order of the Cubic Stone, 1983. First Edition. Softcover. Small folio. 32pp. Original printed card wrappers. An issue of the seldom-seen journal of the Order of the Cubic Stone, arguably one of the most significant English magical fraternities of the later decades of the twentieth century. This issue includes: "Crystal Magic": a transcript of letters relating to Frederick Hockley and a facsimile of Irwin’s transcription of his "Practical Form to work by the Crystal," as well as W. Wynn Westcott’s essay, "Magic: does it Exist?" and the fifth part of Turner's study of Dee's "Liber Mysteriorum." Interestingly the Hockley and Westcott texts were supplied by Gerald Yorke from his own collection. Wrappers lightly marked, otherwise a clean, VG+ copy. Item #64403
