A single issue of this quarterly periodical produced by James M. Martin [Belarion Israfel EL SHADDAI aka Frater Sodomiticus ac Impudicus], (1943-2015). Martin was a writer, gay activist, attorney and founder of a number of occult organizations, including the American Gnostic Church / Ordo Templi Baphe-metis (founded 1985) the Servants of the Star and Snake (founded 1995), and the Sahaja Society, which explored tantric, Kundalini and Sahajayana. In this issue of Abraxas, Martin included his own "On the Mechanics of Ritual" ; "Three Rites of the Dark Gnosis" - I. "Initiation into the Goddess Lilith" (Fra. Typhon), - II. "Ritual of the Gradus Pentalpha, Fraternitas Saturni" (trans. Dr. Walther Volbach) and III "A Satanic Initiation" (Fra. Ahriman), along with a variety of articles, book reviews and editorial comments etc. Covers a bit discoloured overall and lightly rubbed at edges, price sticker on front cover, clean inside.
