Gilt titling to spine, b&w illustrations. A volume in the "Classic Wisdom Collection" edited and with a New Introduction etc. by Marc Allen. The original subtitle of the book, "A Treatise on the Mechanism of Prayer, and the Operation of the Law of Attraction in Nature" gives an indication of its content. A "how to" guide by Regardie that was first published in 1937. Regardie had joined the Golden Dawn offshoot the Stella Matutina a few years before writing the original edition of this book, and was known to be one of a small circle within the group (including Dion Fortune) who had a particular interest in healing. Although perhaps not directly related, it seems likely that his experiences with them must have informed this text. Covers lightly rubbed, a few light pencil marks outside text, else a tight, clean VG copy. (no dust jacket issued). Item #64574
