White Stains & The Nameless Novel; Flowers of Eros and Evil

Salt Lake City, UT: Wet Angel Books, 2008. First Edition Thus. Softcover. Octavo. 184pp. A reprint of one of the scarcer of Crowley's early books, "White Stains," coupled with "The Nameless Novel" - a spectacularly filthy piece that was originally published as the first half of his "Snowdrops from a Curate's Garden" and with a new appropriately obscenely-titled Introduction. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discrete book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well-known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. The label can easily be removed without affecting the page, although it would be a shame not to preserve this record of the book's provenance. Covers lightly rubbed otherwise a tight, clean near Fine copy. Item #64851
