The Great Drug Delusion, by a New York Specialist (Aleister Crowley) AND The Drug Panic by a London Physician (Aleister Crowley) [ 2 essays in 1 booklet ].

Syracuse NY: Luminist Publications, April 2005. First Edition Thus. Softcover booklet. Octavo. 17pp. + iiipp advert. Stapled colour illustrated wrappers - cover art based on the poster for the 1935 film "The Cocaine Fiends". The texts of two drug-related works by Crowley: "The Great Drug Delusion" originally appeared in "The English Review", a London monthly, for June, 1922, and "The Drug Panic" originally appeared in the "The English Review" for July, 1922. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discrete book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well-known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. The label can easily be removed without affecting the page, although it would be a shame not to preserve this record of the book's provenance. A tight, clean Fine copy in publisher's plastic cover.
