Translated from the Hamburg Edition of 1676 and edited with a Biographical Preface. Edward Kelly (1555-1595) is more widely remembered for his role as John Dee's 'skryer' than as an alchemist, and there is some uncertainty as to whether he actually authored the works here attributed to him. (Gilbert B 11). Spine ends and corners very lightly bruised and rubbed, pages edges slightly darkened and foxed - otherwise a tight, bright and clean VG+ copy in VG dust jacket. (Dust jacket is a bit chafed at all edges and points, upper spine lightly chipped, not clipped. Dust jacket now protected by removable mylar sleeve.). Item #64988
