Small octavo. 24pp, Original stapled pale green printed paper wrappers with black titling etc. to front wrapper and photo of the author. Adverts on rear cover and on inside of both covers. A booklet from the "The 'Two Worlds' Reprints" series, first published in1898, written by James Johnson Morse (1848– 1919), a well-known Medium who was active within the Spiritualist movement for over 50 years. Aside from writing a number of books of his own, he contributed to others (including writing a Preface to Emma Hardinge Britten's autobiography) and was a regular contributor to Spiritualist journals such as "The Medium", "The Spiritualist", "Light", and "The Herald of Progress" and "The Two Worlds" - and for a time edited the latter. Covers a bit darkened & rubbed, heavy rubbing and chipping at spine, rear cover nearly detached (hanging by a thread), small puncture marks at inner margin where it was presumably bound with other pamphlets at one time. Internally clean and unmarked. Thus a clean, complete Good + copy. Item #65028
