Bound in modern blue stiff cloth wrappers with printed paper title label on upper cover. Black and white engraving and decorative border to title-page, which also has the number "115" (presumably a series number?) printed at the foot. A short biography of Alexander Peden (1626 – 1686), also known as "Prophet Peden", one of the leading figures in the Presbyterian Covenanter movement in Scotland. From the collection of Dr. M. H. Coleman, with his blindseal through the first blank. Binding fresh and clean, pages lightly toned and creased but bright and unmarked. Overall a tight clean VG+ copy. Scarce. Item #65031
